The Big Move

Your first place is always exciting to move into but I have lived by myself before and I have not been as excited as what I am now.

I have been dating this guy for over a year now and we have decided to take the next step and move in together.

Yes, I am very nervous but yet I am like a little kid inside, I cant stop thinking about where my furniture is going to go and what else I need and how I am going to decorate the place. I am just so grateful I have a brilliant friend and boyfriend who I know will come and help me and she has got quite a knack for decorating so I hope she is going to be by my side helping me.

This Flat is Brilliant. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, enclosed balcony, lounge, dinning room and kitchen and it is on the 13th floor so I look directly into my friend’s window so we can have some brilliant screaming conversations with one another.

Myself and my boyfriend are going to sign the Lease tonight and I just can’t wait to do it but like a typical male his first question is can you get DSTV, cause yes he cant live without it, to out he is going to loose out on sports, Prison Break and Californication which he loves watching.
Another thing he wants is a dishwasher, so I said to him, yes we have a dish washer, it called I wash up and you dry up, he did not look pleased with the answer I had given him.

I am just so glad to have a place of my own and to do what I want in it and decorate it the way I want to.

Although, I am not looking forward to the cleaning, cooking and touching or some one else underwear and socks but I suppose that is one thing I am going to have to get used to.
But at least he has said I can get a girl once a week, which is awesome.

I just can’t wait to start moving in now; I just want to get the ball rolling.
